Cynthia Jules
My name is Cynthia Jules. I am a junior Computer Science major from Newark, NJ. I went to American History High School and participated in the First Tech Challenge for 2 years in alliance with the NJIT GEAR Up program. This is where I developed an interest in robotic and programming. My parents are Haitian and I am a first-generation Haitian-American. I am the oldest of 6 siblings. I am the first person in my immediate family to go to college and the first person in my family to pursue a degree in computer science. I currently work at The Office of The Comptroller of The Currency as an IT intern and I have been there since March of 2017. I am an active member of both the National Society of Black Engineers and the Society of Women Engineers. I am interested in art, music, books, computers, and cats.
